Fecking Icecream Vans
Is there any way of stopping "ice-cream" vans coming into estates ? The ultra loud van that patrols our area has now started coming into our estate and parking opposite our apartment. The noise is driving me nuts.

This guy comes around every signle day, no matter what the weather. Sod. Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer at full blast. My poor head. Surely there's some law against it ??? This is another reason I want to live in a gated community.

Install a huge hairdryer at the entrance, facing the road, and set it to maximum heat.

Other than that I'm not sure what you can do. We go through spells of one turning up across from our house too. He never seems to sell anything, which might be why he hasn't turned up now for a few months.

Has the council taken the roads in your estate into hand Sleepy, or are they still privately owned by the Management company (i.e. the residents?). If that's the case, I'd imagine a casual trading licence granted to noisy ice-cream bastard by the DCC doesn't cover private property.
