And here's her Christmas Pudding recipe:
Christmas Pudding
Ingredients:
4 oz Self Raising Flour
2 teaspoons Cinnamon
2 teaspoons Mixed Spice
2 Nutmeg
12 oz Fresh Bread crumbs
2 oz Ground Almonds
8 oz Brown Sugar
1 Medium Carrot (grated)
1 Lemon (rind and juice)
1 Orange (rind and juice)
4 oz Cherries
16 oz Sultanas
8 oz Raisins
8 oz Suet
5 Eggs
½ Pint of Guinness
4 Tablespoons of Whiskey/Brandy
Method:
Combine all the ingredients and place in greased bowls.
Place greasproof paper on top and then cover with pleated greaseproof paper, followed by pleated tin foil. Tie with string.
Boil for 5 hours and store.
Boil for further 1-2 hours before serving.
