Era, what's the one above the Quays pub in Temple bar? Little French place, not too bad for romantic ambience. Mind you it was about 2 years ago when I was there...

Little Ceasers is well recommended. If you want really cheap then Cher Jules (across from the screen cinema is ya olny man)
Also the south street restaurant in South Gr Geroges street is very good.

Chez Jules is alright for a group of people, cos they put you at tables with strangers. But it wouldn't exactly be 'romantic', but yeah it's quite cheap and cheerful.

Cripes Bigjoe, you're a classy dude. Little Ceasers is OK for a Monday night, not a romantic date. Try Eden Fred or if you want something cheap, the Troc - shabby but intimate.

Eden is a tad overpriced I'd have thought - and the staff are more interested in themselves than in you. Try Khyber Tandoori (Sth William St) for not the cheapest but the best Indian, La Cave (Sth Anne St) for reasonable, romantic speakeasy with French/Moroccan/Algerian food, Pasta Milano (just over Halfpenny Bridge from Temple Bar) for cheap EyeTie in nice setting.... The list goes on. And ignore that Chez Jules suggestion - what can that boy be thinking?
