... in the spring they go ahead and in the fall they go back...
The Beany boys are in Da Bronx this weekend...
Last time they were here, the great Aaron Boone was giving a victory homerun lap around the bases as the glorious Yankees headed for ANOTHER post season and the Beansters went home with their tails between their legs...
-The NY Yankees:
26 World Championships
-The Red Soxxers:
1918
Bambino
Ball thru Buckner's legs
Bucky Dent
Aaron Boone

Don't you mean the broken from playing basketball Aaron Boone?
I quote from a New York paper "He redeemed himself by knocking the Red Sox out of World Series contention with his eleventh-inning home run. But then, three months later, after signing a $5.75 million deal, Boone blew out his knee playing basketball, violating—and thus voiding—his contract. "
Stupid Yankees. We'll still tar you like we did last weekend
Beaten by the Marlins
A-Rod 1 for 17
(The list will grow as the yankees become more futile during the rest of the season)

Watching the Saux walk off the field dejected and miserable was worth EVERY penny and trouble during the off season...
God bless Aaron Boone!!!! Put him in the Hall of Fame...
Hey Ick - Schilling "only" gave up 7 runs last nite - way to go!!!

Is that anything like when Mussina gave up 6 runs in 4 innings in the Devil Rays home opener? THE DEVIL RAYS???!!! I won't even mention the Japan Debacle...

It's Rockapella, but I wouldn't expect a Yankees fan to know that.

Or the fact that, you know, the Yankees actually lost the World Series. Something our friend Moody seems to have conveniently forgotten.

Rockapella of "Where in The World is Carmen Sandiego?" game show fame?

Hey, you know what? We sell to bee keepers. Next time one of them is in here, I'll ask them about the honey with the comb thing. If they don't know, who does, right?
ickabod147

There you go. Actually I read somewhere that due to better honey extraction techniques, beekeepers don't have to sell their honey in combs any more. Now it's more a specialty product. If we can't find any at earthy-crunchy central, I can order it online.

Gimme the broom. It's a sweep. Red Sox shut out the Yankees.
So that's what, 6 out of the last 7 we've won against the Yanks? Niiiiiice.

Can someone change the title of this thread to "Red Sox Sweep Yankees in Bronx"? Thanks.
The Yankeeees:
Beaten by the Marlins

Got to chuckle at Boston players and fans getting giddy for a handful of games in April...
If this was September I would be more passionate and concerned but I have to remeber - It's the hapless Red Saux...
...ESTABLISHED LOSERS SINCE 1918!!!!!
Ted Williams went to his sorry grave without a ring!!!
So will Yaz!!!
So will Nomar!!!
You're cursed!!!!!
ickabod147

Yeah, this is the Sox without Nomar and Nixon. We'll be even better when they come back! HA!
New York Yankees OVERPAID LOSERS SINCE YESTERDAY!
Technically Ted Williams hasn't gone to his grave yet. He has, however, gone to his cryogenic chamber without a ring.
The Yuckees:
Beaten by the Marlins
Toasted by Tampa in Tokyo
A-Rod 1 for 17
Swept by Boston in The Bronx
Jeter 0 for 25

Who cares? He's out-hitting Jeter. And A-Rod. And everyone else on the Yankees. He can look like the entire cast of Hair and Jesus Christ Superstar rolled into one, as long as he keeps hitting like he's doing.

Every time I see Damon - I want to grab a bucket of nails and find a cross and hammer him into it....
