Man I hate Walkers crisps. They taste horrible, and now murts tells me they're flogging off their substandard wares for cheap, making things difficult for decent crisps everywhere.
So I'm calling for a boycott of Walkers horrible crisps.

Despite my addiction to their Sea Salt 'n' Cracked Black Pepper Sensations, count me in. This sort of scumminess musn't go unpunished.

Their salt'n'vinegar aren't bad, but the problem with their crisps is that they're so....clinical. It's like getting a plate of sandwiches with all the nasty crusts removed.
They've dropped the price of their cheese'n'onion to 20c, which has forced Tayto to follow suit.
Boo to Walkers! Leave our Tayto alone!
The first person to mention "market forces" has to shove a pumpkin up his/her hole.

There's something suspiciously "perfect" about Walkers crippers.

We should start a baseless rumour about them.

I HATE any kind of flavoured crips including Cheese 'n' Onion.
Walkers plain crips are yer only man :D :p

STOP! Mossy, put the crisps down and take three steps back.

can we have a campaign against the explanation as to what hunky dory means on the back of hunky dorys packets?
tinsel
16th February 2004, 02:08 PM
what does hunky dory mean on the back of the packets?
Spanky
16th February 2004, 02:11 PM
No. People who read crisp packets get all they deserve.
I think Walker's crisps always look undercooked. And 'plain' or 'ready-salted' are NOT flavours, they're lack-of-flavours.
Burn 'em all I say!! Bring back Sam Spudz Smokey Bacon.

When I read the thread title I thought it was some sort of campaign against country ramblers.....

shush. We'll go into silly product names another day. Today we're concentrating on the inferior product that is Walkers crisps and how to make it go away.

i'm not going to demean myself and type out what it says on the back of hunky dorys.

Walkers salt and vinegar are so infinitely superior to Tayto that it is a wonder that the Irish company has the audacity to even compete with them.
Where do I sign up for the anti-Tayto campaign?
CEO
16th February 2004, 02:24 PM
You go someplace else where they tolerate that kind of blasphemy.

16th February 2004, 02:26 PM
You're just trying to be different for the sake of it, Paddy.
It doesn't impress the chicks here, y'know.
They want a man who EATS the crusts on his cucumber sandwiches and DAMNS the consequences.
And that man is a TAYTO MAN.

Me too - that was my initial reaction

No they're not. They are POTATO CRISPS and should taste like that not like some shite infused vinegar/prawn/smoky bacon cardboard.

aken, I know you only typed that to be in with a chance for some anal-pumpkin action but I'm keeping it for someone who really needs it.

If it means not impressing CEO, I'll cry myself to sleep for a couple of days but I reckon I'll survive.
More importantly what is Mr Tayto (above) doing with his right hand?

This graphic was originally intended for Tayto's new "scratch'n'sniff" section of their website which promoted their new scampi-flavoured range.
His right hand is foraging for ingredients while his left invites you to have a good nostril full of goodness.

A-ha, but you get 6grams more for your 20c with Tayto than Walkers.
You see Tayto already had the plan to sell their product for 20c during their anniversary but they were gazzumped by Walkers.
Long live Tayto Spring Onion flavour in the green packet. Why oh why were they discontinued?
