Red Sox Acquire Schilling

Wow! What an interesting day in Red Sox Nation. I sure hope that he works out for us and isn't going to go down the tubes now that he's been traded to us. Too bad for Casey Fossum though. He was a decent pitcher that could've been something a couple of years down the road. As long as the Yankees didn't get him (Schilling) I'm happy.

no not yet. soon, maybe? If it's not Francona I think Schilling will be pretty ticked off. Don't know why they're delaying the announcement til the end of the week. If you get Francona, who schilling likes, and Foulke, who worked with Francona just last season in Oakland, you're golden. Dump Manny acquire A-Rod, put Nomar in Left Field, you're golden. Find a nice utility 2nd baseman. Go sox! :D
