I just registered. I like forums, and am involved in several.
I retired as a TWA captain in 1987. Flew for Aer Lingus in 1958, where I met my future wife in the Metropole. She's from Lucan.
She has maintained her Irish citizenship, and we have 6 grown "Kids", Eamonn, Patrick Deirdre, Eileen, Timothy, and Kevin.
We get back now and then, but not as often as we should, really.

Welcome to P45. :)
There's more people about during the day hours GMT, but there's a fair few of us here in the evenings.

Hi Teoraim. I take it with that job history you've browsed prune and jetblasters already?

Thanks.
I have a question. How do I stay logged in? I answer a reply, then it says "You are not logged in".
Here's the lot of us, except #6, Kevin. He had to work. The occassion was the wedding of our Grand daughter Meghen, 18, in a ski lodge in UTAH.

You have to enable the cookies in your profile, Treoraim. But the boards are in the process of getting new RAM so only registered users can access the boards right now and the boards do seem to log you out fairly sharpish.
Nice pictures. :)

I have to enable cookies in my computer, I guess.

Well, for this site anyway. but if you go up to the top of the page, you can access your profile and have it log you in automatically. I think there's a place to enable cookies there, too.
but it's not you, it's happening to all of us these days. We've gotten too big for our britches. ;)

Ok, here's how. Go into your user control panel at the top of this page. Under Edit Options, the second option allows you to browse the board with cookies. That may help. And then you don't have to turn on cookies for your computer, just this site.

Oh I forgot to mention that my brother has moved to NJ. Hazlett, to be exact.

Drifter - Hazlet has a nice location, convenient to NYC, and has a sizeable Irish population.
I think there is an AOH there, or nearby.

Yeah, he works in Manhattan, so his daily commute isn't too bad.
