Newstalk 106 has George Hook in the afternoon drivetime slot.

That's bad enough. In recent weeks he has also had this little talk by an American business guru called Mark McCormack, his latest "Success Secret". Patronising boring stuff that makes Tom Peters sound like rock 'n' roll. Get it off now!!!!

I'd post to their own forum on their website but it doesn't work with Mozilla, but they'll probably read this here eventually anyway.

Here's an idea: decide in advance to target a particular radio show on a station such as newstalk, we all ring them up and the aim is to get the presenter to get a big dose of the giggles!

newstalk has a competition at around 12.20 every day where they do 'Pony Or Phony' and u have to guess whether the name of the horse is a pony or made up. But it is quite hard to work out whether the person on a bad line is saying pony or phony. So u just say a word that sounds like either - "ony"

the "barefoot doctor" in the morning is the one that i find the most annoying, as I find "new-agey psychobabble" terribly hokey.
