I feel your pain. Although I'm out of here in 30 minutes (because I've run out of blood).

What sort of anti-social hell hole do you work in by the way?

Would'nt be nice to be in your shoes
Even if it was for just one day
Would'nt it be good if we could wish ourselves away

Trying to test some drugs we made a while ago. Has to be done while I have a fresh supply of blood (because I'm not gonna take my own blood, that'd be weird). Nearly done. Have to write a big report on it by Monday too, so another late night tomorrow.

are you testing on your own blood, that someone else has taken, or on some samples that you extract from the local wino's....i mean whose going to notice if those lads disappear....

What kind of drugs, Sparky?

My own blood that someone else removed with a big sharp needle yesterday morning. Not allowed remove your own blood, otherwise you'd have a lot of very dedicated scientists roaming the streets looking like anaemic ghosts.
Jules, painkillers.

Ah. I was hoping you were going to tell me you had some revolutionary new drug that would cure diabetes. ;)
Painkillers are good, though. They make you all floaty and fuzzy. Except Percocet, god that stuff gave me the worst nightmares I've ever had. If I never have to take that again, it will be too soon.

he's actually in late at the weekends working on a love potion which he doesn't want to be caught doing during the week.

Oh is that what it is? You're going to distribute it to all the loyal P45-ers, though, right Sparky? Right?!

just be grateful your aunt & uncle aren't coming over tonight to watch the home movies (just transferred to video) of them immigrating.......
watching uncle puke over the side of the QEII is not part of the recipe for a fun evening.

Unfortunately no Jules. You'll be the first to know when it happens.
*edit*about the diabetic drug, not the love potion, which I'm sure you'd have absolutely no use for!!!
mb, sure what would I want one of those for!? Anyway, the chances of me meeting the woman of my dreams at the water fountain outside my lab at five to nine on a Saturday night are alarmingly small.
