Does anyone have any good, quick recipes for salmon, that I can do on the grill? I have my cousin coming over for dinner tonight and need to have this cooked fairly quickly.

I usually grill and just add a squeeze of lemon.....teriyaki sauces are nice and quick too.....or in foil in the oven with lemon and dill.....

I can do that. Salt, dill and lemon. Can't get much easier than that. With baby red potatoes, seasoned with...some stuff. Garlic and salt, maybe. And green beans.
Sorted.
Thanks, grasss, bf. The cheque is in the mail. ;)

It was unhelpful actions like this that stopped the gifts and money in the first place.

K

actually what the heck, send them over. I specialize in unavailable men. We'll have a great time. Be warned that I'm going to find to send over fragrent items such as liverwurst in your care package.

LOL - I'm talking to her on the phone she's getting tacos.
She said she must have been really really drunk. She has no memory of this.

Well, I'd get the grill realllllllly hot, put the salmon on a baking tray and very lightly drizzle with good olive oil and squeeze a little bit of lemon on it, and a bit of soy/teriyaki sauce if you like. That's the perfect simple one.
if you've any leftover tapenade, lightly spread it on top with a knife.
if you've some leftover herbs and breadcrumbs knocking around, you could make a nice layer of stuffing on top of the fish
Serve with... er... lots of different things.
E.g. mash potato or some baby new potatoes and some veg
As for the bombs and parcels, I'm lost on that bit.

K

Now that he mentions it I have a vague memory of either emailing or pming Bus but really have no idea when. LOL. Surely the boards don't need two murph sisters as moderators.
How are things by the way? Sounds like work's been insane--they wanted you to come in on Easter Sunday?! Sorry I couldn't give you any fish advice but all's I can offer is take 'em to a restaurant as I can't remember the last time I actually cooked.

We're taking them to a resaurant tomorrow. They have yet to have lobster...and they've been here almost a week. I'm derelict in my seafood-pandering duties. :D
Work sucks. It always sucks. They didn't insist that we come in on Easter, so I'm not.
And there's nothing wrong with two murph sister moderators... might be entertaining. :D

Where are they in from? My work's going well except that I'm exhausted since Murph dragged me out until 1am last night. If I don't get 8 hours sleep I'm wrecked--unless it's a weekend of course. :D

They're from Colorado, not exactly the seafood capitol of the universe.
Pfft. Sleep is for sissies. C'mon, you're young, you should be out there til all hours. ;)
