Hey, goys and birls, I'd like you to leave me a laugh for when I get off work tomorrow (which is today for you now)--about 8 or 9 pm, your time. What do you like/hate about the Celtic Dragon. One liners would be preferred. Thanks to all.

Yep - pretty thick. It's the Celtic Tiger But welcome to the boards anyway!
To doss means to waste time, screw around, have fun. You will be in training until the time you have reached 25 posts. Then and only then you will be promoted to Dosser.
Don't ask what you have to do to be a M.D. I'm sworn to secrecy!

Well, you asked somebody of Irish descent, if not actually Irish, so you asked for every long-winded bit of it:
I used to go look at Fox News on-line. One day, I followed a story to a link at Sky News on-line. One day at Sky, I followed a link to the Times of London. Another time, I followed a link to the NY Times. There, I joined their psychotic news group, Abuzz. There, I met an Irish girl (living in Florida) who sent me the P45 URL one day. The NY Times site is all screwed up (they made it "new and improved," and it really sucks now--ifyouknowwhatImeanandI'msureyoudo), so today, bored, I clicked on P45 for a little humor, and behold, I stumbled into this shabeen. Lucky me, huh ?

BTW, yeah I know, it's Celtic Tiger--that was supposed to be humor: Dragon--draggin', doesn't always work though, huh ?

Hey, Boss, don't knock it--you get rid of the idjits here, and me an' them other three guys are a fun bunch. I was born in New Yawk, and lived all over this country. I ended up in Ohio about 12 years ago, and it's rather like living in a field of cattle, you gotta watch where you step, but nobody's like to be aware of what you're doin' :-)

we didn't quite get the porn channel at home, but if you flipped back and forth from the channel you could see some skin every now and then. i can still remember my dad yelling at us if he caught us watching the beastie boys on MTV... he was afraid we would turn out to be unruly teenagers. http://www.p45.net/rant/rolleyes.gif

Hey! I'm a student! I only get holidays when THEY TELL ME I'm getting holidays! It's not a choice! I'll be knee deep in Con Law when the GDP rolls around.
And a kindly relative donated a ticket home for christmas. I doubt I'd be able to convince the same kindly relative to bring me home so I could er, meet up with, er, these people I know off um, the internet...

Hey when I was home over the summer, I had a great time trying to explain to my parents and friends who I was meeting up with etc. They must have been like "funny, we never heard of X,Y & Z before....how'd she meet new people in Dublin when she hasn't lived here for 4 years?

well, my family believe that new york must have a lot of pretty damn good international pubs because i keep meeting people from all over the world at this same ole pub. and my new friends must be rich since they can just casually fly over to new york for a weekend... LOL

I should probably state at the outset that it has been a habit of mine to address anyone and everyone as Boss--hence, the name I'm usin' here, a lot of people here call me Bossman as a result, I'll try to restrain myself. I knew you were slaggin' me, but it is embarrassing to tell people you live in Ohio, all the same.

LMAO!!! I should have thought of that. I just claimed that everyone was "an old friend from college..." and changed the subject...
Hey Boss, don;t worry, I'd be embarrassed if I was from Ohio too....but we're all friends here so no need to be ashamed http://www.p45.net/rant/smile.gif

No, it's in the northwest of Franklin County, a festering pimple on the buttocks of Columbus. I can't stand cities, so I moved here when I could afford it . . .
