A good cd to get is Mauro Picotto - Transformer. His mixing style is very good - kinda like Fergie. The tunes on it are stomping - some of his own tunes and Cygnus X is there somewhere.

I'm listening to Tranceport by Paul Oakenfold, but it's fairly old. I think he has a Tranceport 2 or something similar out.

Best mixes I have listen to in the last few:
Tiesto - Magik III
Paul Oakenfold - Voyage into Trance
Paul Oakenfold - New York CD1
Pau van Dyk - Live San Fransisco
Carl Cox - Live @ Dance Terminal
Sasha - New Years Set (forget where it was)

Mix CDs are complete pants. "As seen on TV! Direct from Manumission in Ibiza [actually, from a garage in Clapham], we present over a hour's worth of club anthems [actually, a seemingly endless succession of records that sound very like Café Del Mar but aren't as good], expertly mixed by world-famous DJ Jean-Claude Spandex [née Kevin Bracegirdle]!"

They are a bit crap allright. I hate the way the run one song into the next. I prefer to hear each song in it's entirety on it's own.

I was at (global underground) Sasha in San Fransisco when I was on holidays 2 summers ago. John Digweed and Carl Cox were also there that night. Never bought it though.... very strange night!

Joefuz - they are supposed to run into each other, that is what the dj's job is - to mix them.

Hi, I'm Lestat, the best mix CD I ever heard was one I got free with last months "Ministry" mag, it was called Homelands mixed by Nick Warren. Pure Trance/House!
