Got Exterminator by Primal Scream. Not too bad. It's the same yet different to their last album. A bit more mainstream I suppose, but still some good tracks. Kill all hippies is good.
In a bit of a weird move, they have remixed a track from the previous album and stuck it on this one. It was one of me faves from the first album, and had a great name. "If they move, kill 'em!"

No idea, but they use a bit of the vid from Kill All Hippies on the trailer for No Disco but that's ON RTE so you won't have seen it.
Hmmm....?

M, your posts should come with Parental Guidance warnings. "May Cause Impure Thoughts", that kind of thing...

Maybe it's not my posts it's just that you men always have one thing on the brain.
The women would know what I mean. You just can't wear spaghetti straps with a bra & strapless bras are so damned uncomfortable! Plus, who wants to wear one of those damned contraptions in the summer anyway??? As little clothing as decency can with stand.....
HMan....Coltraine too???? Ah, lovely. You may have inspired me to go out this coming weekend & lay down some cash on jazz. Haven't bought any in ages...
Hmmm....?

M, Kind of Blue is highly recommended!
I've been getting into jazz since I started playing sax....admittedly my repertoire is pretty crappy at the moment, but it's not bad seeing as I haven't found a teacher yet.
I have two Blue Note...Best of albums which are also excellent

I used to be into jazz (ex being a jazz drummer & all).......Joshua Redman playing with Pat Metheny & Christian McBride is one of the best concerts I've ever been to. Simply amazing!

M, I've always been more of a trad player...but lately I've been 'seduced' by jazz...

My attraction to jazz is because I'm completely classically trained. Played the bassoon & oboe. And jazz is so free in such a different way......and it challenges your mind to listen to it. I'm an active listener when it comes to jazz, not a passive one like with pop & all that kind of stuff.

Hey googie, you might want to check out those free STD tests.

M, similar story here....been playing accordion since I was a kid, all kinds of stuff, classical, trad, jazz...
I find myself 'challenged' when I listen to instrumental music like trad and jazz...definitely gets me going more than the crappy pop that's being played on radio stations these days

well, i like pop too (some of it anyway) but to get my mind really turning & thinking musically i definitely need jazz. and i still like to test my skills with classical, too.
